Nicola Taramanidou

After a long and courageous fight against cancer our Nicola died in Ioannina Hospital on 18^th September.   Nicola, a Manchester lass and keen supporter of United, was cheerful to the last and some of us did not know how serious was her case although she had been going for treatment at fortnightly intervals for many months.    She taught at a local frontisterio and  was dearly loved by all her pupils; they are shattered at their loss.    We all shall miss her deeply.   Agios Ioannis is not the same without Nicola’s happy presence.
